According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Jimmy Butler has already challenged coach Brett Brown about his role in the 76ers offensive system. The two had also a heated exchange during a video session in Portland.
Coach Brown, according to Wojnarowki, said to the front office that he doesn’t think Butler was disrespectful in his regards and that he’ll continue his work in trying to adapt his offense to Butler.
Butler has expressed a desire to teammates that he hopes to play in more traditional pick-and-roll and isolation sets, rather than trying to find his place in the Sixers free-flowing offense, Wojnarowski added in his story.
