Jayson Tatum discuss COVID-19 aftereffects: “You get fatigued a lot quicker than normal”
Tatum missed weeks of playing time after contracting Coronavirus.
Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum discussed the aftereffects of COVID-19, saying that he gets tired quicker than usual.
“I think it messes with your breathing a little bit. I have experienced some games where, I don’t want to say [I was] struggling to breathe, but, you know, you get fatigued a lot quicker than normal. Just running up and down the court a few times, it’s easier to get out of breath or tired a lot faster. I’ve noticed that since I’ve had COVID. It’s just something I’m working on,” said Tatum on Tuesday.
Tatum tested positive for COVID-19 in early January, and returned to the team on January 25th. Celtics star is averaging 24.5 points on 42.7% from the field in the 11 games since his return.
