An important win for CSKA Moscow, who was able to return to winning ways with a 84-77 win in Munich over Bayern, which was led for the first time by Oliver Kostic.
After a commanding first-half, ended 41-25, CSKA suffered Bayern’s comeback, with the lead reduced to just 1 point with 5 minutes remaining in the fourth.
Itoudis’ side ultimately got the win thanks in particular to Mike James (27 points, 7 assists and 10 foul drawn while shooting 8/23 from the field) and Darrun Hilliard (20 points and 7 rebounds). Bayern had 20 points and 10 rebounds from Greg Monroe.
