UPDATE 18.34: “Ivan Almeida is free agent. We have breached the contract with Kalev/Cramo on January 18 and he has already a couple of offers. Almeida will go to France on Wednesday to get confirmation that he is cleared to play” Almeida’s agent Yann Balikouzou told Sportando.
UPDATE 15.20: Kalev/Cramo manager Kaarel Sibula denied that Ivan Almeida became free agent.
“We have a contract with Almeida” Sibula told Korvpall.ee. “Almeida will go to France at the beginning of February to find out if it is possible to start a rehabilitation” added the GM of the Estonian team. “I have heard that Ivan Almeida would love to become free agent but out goal is to achieve successes and make results. It is hard to say if we will keep Almeida. It depends on the tests he will have in February. But Almeida is not free agent as of today”.
