Hackett confirms interest from Virtus Bologna: I can opt out only for an EuroLeague team

Daniel Hackett confirmed that Virtus Bologna showed interest in him but he said that his goal is to play in EuroLeague next season.

Hackett can opt out of his deal with Brose Bamberg only for an EuroLeague team.

“I am happy that they are interested in me. They are an ambitious club. But I’d love to play in EuroLeague and I have a contract with Brose Bamberg. I can opt out but only for EuroLeague. The situation is complicated” Hackett said.

Virtus Bologna will play in the Basketball Champions League next season with a wild card.
