Italian Basketball Federation halts this weekend’s LBA games
No Serie A basketball will be played today due to the new Italian Government measures on the Coronavirus outbreak.
Italian Basketball Federation has officially announced, in agreement with LBA and the involved teams, that today’s Serie A round is suspended and no games will be played today.
The decision comes after the most recent Italian Government measures on the Coronavirus outbreak, which are expected to be active from today.
In the measures, the region of Lombardy and several Italian provinces will be put on lockdown with few exceptions allowed, between which the chance to play professional sports behind close doors, but no Serie A games will be played today either way.
