Israeli’s Winner League teams join the Balkan League to resume practice and games

Move has been made because only teams in International competition are currently allowed to practice and play in Israel’s anti-Covid lockdown.

All 12 Winner League clubs from Israel have joined the Balkan League and therefore they can begin practicing and playing immediately. As reported by SportsRabbi, teams will be broken up into 4 groups of 3 with each team playing 4 games. The two top teams after a playoff will then move on the next stage of the competition.

Decision was taken because only sports teams enrolled in International competitions are currently allowed to practice and play due to the Israel government lockdown.
