Ilkan Karaman has died at the age of 34: a former player who also played in the EuroLeague with the jersey of Fenerbahce, a club where he played from 2012 to 2014. During his career, he was also selected by the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA with the No. 57 pick in the 2012 draft, but never played an official game overseas.
Karaman, according to Basketfaul, was waiting on a sidewalk for a friend who was busy getting gas when a vehicle, driven by a man who was probably drunk, lost control and ran over the former player.
