Houston Rockets trade Kevin Porter Jr. and two future second-round picks to the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are immediately waiving Porter Jr. In return, the Rockets are receiving Victor Oladipo and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. The Thunder are also acquiring a 2027 second-round pick from Minnesota and a 2028 second-round pick from Milwaukee. Porter Jr. is currently facing assault charges based on an incident with his girlfriend. OKC will have to pay the $16.9M guaranteed left on Porter Jr.’s contract as they waive him. The Thunder gathered four second-round picks this offseason by moving Oladipo’s $9.5M expiring deal. OKC now has 15 first-round and 22 second-round picks over the next seven years.
