Here come more classic EuroLeague games – daily!

Euroleague Basketball is now set to bring fans a new collection of Classic Games, one per day, as part of the #EUROLEAGUEUNITED campaign

After having rebroadcast all the championship games in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague history during recent weeks, Euroleague Basketball is now set to bring fans a new collection of Classic Games, one per day, as part of the #EUROLEAGUEUNITED campaign.


In a competition that is famous for the fact that every game counts, there have been countless memorable matchups up and down the calendar over 20 seasons. Now, fans can relive some of the greatest matchups ever, from thrillers that went down to the last shot to historical performances by some of the superstars who have made the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague so great!


Starting on Monday, May 11, one of those Classic Games will be re-aired daily at 17:00 CET on Euroleague Basketball’s Facebook page. Fans who follow the page in advance will get a notification when the games tip off. All games will be available simultaneously on Euroleague Basketball’s YouTube page and on EuroLeague.net, as well!


The roster of classics offers an exciting mix of scoring shows, overtime thrillers and do-or-die showdowns from every phase of the competition between opening day and the Final Four during two full decades. Get ready to relive the debuts of future stars, record-breaking performances and era-defining moments!


Of course, within the Classic Games series, fans will have the chance to see EuroLeague icons like Vassilis Spanoulis, Manu Ginobili, Luka Doncic, Nikola Vujcic, Milos Teodosic, Ramunas Siskauskas and Luis Scola, among many others, in the prime of their careers!


The weekly schedule will be revealed each Monday, so make sure to check often to know which Classic Games are on the bill. Then, plan ahead to make sure you don’t miss watching and commenting on them along with other passionate EuroLeague fans from all over!


Here is this week’s Classic Games schedule:


Monday, May 11: 2014-15 semifinals, CSKA Moscow-Olympiacos Piraeus: A Euroleague semifinal that went down to the final seconds. CSKA stopped Vassilis Spanoulis for 37 minutes, but Kill Bill stole the show with one huge shot after another. Amazing!


Tuesday, May 12: 2006-07 Regular Season Round 1, Maccabi Tel Aviv-Unicaja Malaga: What a way to start the 2006-07 campaign! Maccabi and Unicaja scored over 100 points each in an overtime thriller with the intensity of a playoff game!


Wednesday, May 13: 2016-17 Regular Season Round 10, Brose Bamberg-CSKA Moscow: This game is the complete package; it has great individual performances – Milos Teodosic had 31 points and Nicolo Melli 26 – to go with an outstanding basketball atmosphere and a thrilling finish!


Thursday, May 14: 2009-10 Semifinal, Partizan Belgrade – Olympiacos Piraeus: Partizan played its first Final Four game since 1998 against a star-filled Olympiacos team. Two of the best point guards at the time, Milos Teodosic and Bo McCalebb, went face to face in this nail-biting showdown!


Friday, May 15: 2008-09 Semifinal, FC Barcelona-CSKA Moscow: Ramunas Siskauskas entered his third Final Four after having won the title with Panathinaikos in 2007 and CSKA in 2008. This time, he rescued CSKA with a one-of-a-kind fourth-quarter performance!


Saturday, May 16: 2018-19 Playoffs Game 2, Fenerbahce Istanbul-Zalgiris Kaunas: In a rematch of the 2018 Euroleague semifinals, Fenerbahce had a 1-0 lead in the series and Zalgiris looked to get the homecourt advantage. Zeljko vs. Saras proved to be an incredible tactical battle!


Sunday, May 17: 2004-05 Semifinals, CSKA Moscow-Baskonia (Tau Ceramica): CSKA arrived to the Final Four with a 21-1 record and its fans in Moscow ready for a big party… but Baskonia players Arvydas Macijauskas, Jose Manuel Calderon and Luis Scola had in mind the biggest upset in the competition until then.
