Hapoel “Bank Yahav” Jerusalem is pleased to announce the signing of guard Tarik Phillip (31, 1.91 m) until the end of the season, with an option for an additional season. Phillip returns for his second stint with the team after a short period at the beginning of the 2020-2021 season.
An experienced and respected combo guard, Phillip began the current season with Trefl Sopot in Poland, where he demonstrated great dominance in EuroCup games, averaging 12.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 2.2 steals per game. Last season, he played successfully with the London Lions, averaging 9 points, 4.2 assists, and 3.4 rebounds. He has previously played for Burgos, Reyer Venezia, and Tofaş Bursa.
