Durham last played in Britain for the Caledonia Gladiators, leading the team to the BBL Trophy tournament title
Veolia Towers Hamburg took one step further in forging a roster for the new season with the addition of Aljami Durham, an explosive guard who has signed a one-year deal with the German squad. Durham (1.93 meters, 24 years old) arrives from the Caledonia Gladiators of the British League, where last season he averaged 17.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists. He also led the team to the BBL Trophy tournament title.
Durham played college ball at Indiana University Bloomington from 2017 to 2021. In his sophomore year, he averaged 8.3 points and 1.9 rebounds. After four years with there, Durham joined Providence University in 2021, where he had an impressive record, averaging 13.6 points, 3.4 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game. He helped the Friars break into the Sweet 16. After his college tenure, he started his pro career in Greece with Lavrio in the summer of 2022, but he was waived early in December, before going to Glasgow to join the Gladiators.
