Gobert’s “strange” layup: referees don’t call travel violation
Rudy Gobert starred in a rather peculiar “layup” in Game 3 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns
A rather peculiar episode saw Rudy Gobert in Game 3 of the playoff series between his Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns. The game, won decisively by the TWolves, during the first quarter, saw the French center go on the counterattack for the layup, but given his certainly not very high qualities in ball handling and his little inclination to coast-to-coast from the dribble, he ended up committing a clear travel violation that, incredibly, was not called by the referees.
At the end of the match Gobert scored a double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds.
