Gianmarco Pozzecco is officially the new head coach of Asvel. The French club announced the agreement this morning.
Pozzecco will also remain as the head coach of Italbasket and will be joined in France by his long-time assistant Edoardo Casalone.
This is the comment from the club president, Tony Parker: ‘I am very happy to welcome Gianmarco! He will give a new boost to our season by bringing his tremendous energy and high-level experience. I can’t wait to see the first effects of his arrival on the field.’
Asvel has not officially disclosed the details of the agreement.
Pozzecco will make his debut at home in EuroLeague against Virtus Bologna.
