Garrison Mathews to sign qualifying offer to return to Washington

Mathews played 18 games with Washington last year

Restricted free agent guard Garrison Mathews will sign his qualifying offer and return to the Washington Wizards, his agent Chris Patrick told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Mathews was on a two-way contract last season and 5.4 points on 41.3% for three in 18 games with the Wizards.
