G-League season could take place in a bubble in Atlanta

Not all 28 teams are expected to participate, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

The upcoming G League season could take place in a bubble in Atlanta, sources told Marc Stein of The New York Times. Participating in the bubble would require an entry fee in the $500,000 range for each team.

Not all 28 G League sides are expected to participate, added Stein: a possible major roadblock of this proposal is how frequently players on two-way contracts will be needed by their parent teams, as a player on a two-way contract may stay with its NBA team for no longer than 45 days before being waived or converted into a standard NBA contract.
