Italian Basketball Federation (FIP) honorary president Dino Meneghin confirmed that the season will be canceled.
“Does basketball stop? It is a need to preserve the health of the athletes, staffs and fans. We are experiencing a dramatic moment and sports, basketball, are part of this life. We must follow the rules dictated by the Government to preserve out health. We will cancel the season, it is needed. Life is more important than sports. Now it is essential to give everyone the opportunity to save his own life” Meneghin told “Punto Nuovo Sport Show”.
