Fenerbahçe Beko reportedly halts point guard search
Fenerbahçe Beko has decided to suspend its pursuit of a new point guard
Fenerbahçe Beko has decided to suspend its pursuit of a new point guard. The management explored options like Théo Maledon (ASVEL) and Jean Montero (Valencia), but negotiations did not yield an agreement.
If the transfer had materialized, Skylar Mays was expected to part ways with the team.
The US point guard, approached in the summer by Olimpia Milano, is averaging 7.1 points in the BSL with 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists, but in the EuroLeague he currently produces 3.3 points in 9.6 minutes.
