EuroLeague suspends Real Madrid head coach Pablo Laso one game
The Head Coach will not be able to be present in their next game against Olympiacos Piraeus. The decision may be subject to appeal before the Appeals Judge.
Euroleague Basketball has announced the follow disciplinary sanction pertaining to incidents that occurred in a Round 32 game of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season. The sanction is based on infractions of the competition bylaws that all teams are aware of and obliged to fulfill.
• Mr Pablo Laso, head coach of Real Madrid has been sanctioned with a temporary disqualification for one game for actions that represent a lack of respect towards the officiating crew on occasion of its home game against Anadolu Efes Istanbul under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
As a consequence, the Head Coach will not be able to be present in their next game against Olympiacos Piraeus. The decision may be subject to appeal before the Appeals Judge.
