Euroleague Round #6 | Sportando’s Best Five

Errick McCollum, Marius Grigonis, Jaycee Carroll, Nikola Mirotic, Bryant Dunston. Coach Igor Kokoskov

PG – Errick McCollum (Khimki): Shines in his debut with the team, with 23-much-needed-points in Khimki’s first win of their Euroleague season.

SG – Marius Grigonis (Zalgiris): Rewrites his career high in an outstanding scoring effort to lead Zalgiris to another road win (the 4th out of 4 games played outside Lithuania).

SF – Jaycee Carroll (Real Madrid): His timeless offensive finesse shines once again in Real’s bouncing back win over hot-streak Bayern.

PF – Nikola Mirotic (Barcelona): However he led Barça in scoring against Baskonia, he wasn’t at his best down the line. But the game saving block on Alec Peters is one of the highlights of the round.

C – Bryant Dunston (Efes): In a solid game contributing to a solid road win he rewrites Euroleague history by standing alone at the top of the All Time leaderboard for Blocks in the competition, surpassing Fran Vazquez.

Coach – Igor Kokoskov (Fenerbahce): his team bounces back after three losses in a row with an important road win in Tel Aviv. A win that comes thanks to several contributors, an index of the good work from its coaching staff.
