EuroLeague Round 5: Bayern Munich dominate second half to beat Olympiacos

Bayern Munich scored a big win against Olympiacos in Round 5 of the EuroLeague 2024-2025. The German team dominated the second half after suffering a 12-24 deficit in the second period and shut down Vezenkov and his teammates, who were unable to contain a wild Carsen Edwards, who scored 30 points. The final score was 84-80 in favour of Bayern Munich, with Shabazz Napier hitting a crucial triple in the closing seconds.
Bayern got 30 points from Edwards, 20 from Booker and 10 apiece from Napier and Weiler-Babb, who also had nine assists and six rebounds.
Vezenkov’s 16 points and seven rebounds, Dorsey’s 12 and Wright’s 10 were not enough for Olympiacos.
