Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv dominates against Baskonia and flies to the EuroLeague playoffs, where Panathinaikos awaits.
EuroLeague, Maccabi is simply overpowering, dominating Baskonia in Belgrade and flying into the playoffs of the continent’s top club competition. In a 113-85 victory, Maccabi jumped out to an early lead, outscoring Baskonia 28-15 in the first period and leading by 19 at halftime. Baskonia will have to face the winner of the Efes-Virtus Bologna game and will probably have to play without Chima Moneke, who left the game with an injury. Maccabi, on the other hand, will be awaited by Panathinaikos in the playoffs.
Maccabi scored 29 points on 7/8 shooting from three, with 5 assists and 5 rebounds from Lorenzo Brown, 26 points with 5 assists from Baldwin IV and 14 points from Colson.
For Baskonia, a Codi Miller-McIntyre of 32 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists was not enough, to which Markus Howard’s 14 and Sedekerskis’ 11 with 7 rebounds were added.
