Euroleague Head Coaches Board gather online for the second annual assembly
Yesterday the EHCB held his second annual assembly online due to the current situation
Yesterday the EHCB held his second annual assembly online due to the current situation. Amongst the topics discussed contructively and in full coorporation of each member was the current discussion with Euroleague Basketball on the overall COVID 19 impact. We see those discussion with Euroleague that they initiated in good will regarding the COVID impact as a roadmap towards a future framework agreement. From the first days of existancee of the EHCB we have been working on this goal to harmonize the governance ecosystem and to improve the profesionalization of the competition itself. Our members understand the leadership roles they have in their respective clubs and are fullfilling those obligations and we are in constructive discussion with all relevant stakeholders. Since the COVID pandemia started we have been in constant discussion with Euroleague Basketball where we have exchanged analysis of the economic impact and the overall effects of those. We have been throughly following this pandemia effects on sports in general and across the globe and we continue to do so.
We also have to announce that the 2020 EHCB Coaches Congress will be canceled and postponed to the next summer of 2021. We have taken this decision with all our partners and we want to thank our partners for all their understanding of that decision made. We feel very sorry to announce this fact of the cancellation, since educating future coaches s a founding principle of the EHCB, but we will find way to satisfy coaches around the globe anyhow.
Amongst other detailed conversations we discussed how to further develop our relations with different coaches associations around the globe, starting from Serbia, Croatia, Spain, Turkey, Nigeria, Mozambique, USA and China. With coaches associations from those countries we have been in touch already but we want to strengthen those relationships and extend those to other countries, too.
