Two fines in EuroLeague

Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 20 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season. The sanctions are based on infractions of the competition bylaws that all teams are aware of and obliged to fulfill.

Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade has been sanctioned with fines of amounting to €38,000 for the aggression towards the officiating crew, and the throwing of objects onto the playing court on occasion of its home game against ALBA Berlin under Articles 29.1.e) and 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code

Ergin Ataman, head coach of Anadolu Efes Istanbul, has been sanctioned with a fine of €6,000 for the lack of respect towards the officiating crew on the occasion of its away game against FC Barcelona under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
