EuroLeague fine Crvena Zvezda €34k for aggression on members of officiating crew

The Serbian team fined also for the throwing of objects onto the playing court

Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 13 of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague regular season. The sanctions are based on infractions of the competition bylaws that all teams are aware of and obliged to fulfill.

  • Crvena Zvezda MTS Belgrade has been sanctioned with fines totaling €34,501, for the aggression on the members of the officiating crew, and for the throwing of objects onto the playing court on occasion of its home game against Kirolbet Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz under articles 29.1.e), and 29.2.g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
