Giannakopoulos fined for ‘statements proven offensive to Euroleague Basketball competitions and its managing authorities’
The Independent Disciplinary Judge of Euroleague Basketball has issued the following ruling:
Mr Dimitris Giannakopoulos, individual associated to Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, has been sanctioned with a fine of €70,000 for statements proven offensive to Euroleague Basketball competitions and its managing authorities, in accordance with Article 24.1.g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
