EuroCup Top 16 Round 6 qualification possibilities
There is everything to play for in Round 6. Here are the qualification possibilities!
The last and most consequential week of the 7DAYS EuroCup Top 16 is here, with each and every Round 6 game on Tuesday and Wednesday meaning something in the race to reach the quarterfinals or win home-court advantage in future playoff rounds. Five quarterfinals berths are untaken and 11 teams retain a shot at filling them.
Never in the five-year history of the Top 16 have so many spots been open this late; never have so many teams been eligible to take them; and never has at least one playoffs berth been available in all four groups entering the final round.
What’s more, there is cross-group competition even among already-qualified teams to finish with the best record and highest positive point difference in the Top 16 in order to determine home-court advantage going forward through the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.
