ESPN straw poll finds Nikola Jokic leading Joel Embiid in race for NBA MVP

Nuggets star could repeat as MVP

ESPN has published the results of a straw poll (the third this season) conducted among 100 media members on the 2022 NBA MVP and this poll sees Nikola Jokic leading Joel Embiid (62 1st place votes to 29) after trailing Sixers center in the previous return. Giannis Antetokounmpo is a distant third while Ja Morant and Jayson Tatum complete the Top 5 but with no 1st place votes.
