Enes Kanter, Knicks big man, said to the reporters that he won’t travel with the team to London because he fears repercussion from Turkish president Erdogan. The player has already spoken with the front office and they decided that he’ll remain in New York:
“I won’t play in London,” Kanter said. “Because of that freaking lunatic Turkish president, there’s a change that I can get killed out there. It’s sad because all I want to do is to help my teammates out there but I cannot do it because of that damn dictator”.
