Donald Trump senior adviser Kushner: NBA players are very fortunate that they can take a night off
“What I’d love to see from the players in the NBA — again, they have the luxury of taking a night off from work, most Americans don’t have the financial luxury to do that,” he said.
Jared Kushner, senior adviser in the White House and President Donald Trump’s son-in-law , said that the NBA players are fortunate that they can take a night off.
Per Bloomberg, ""The NBA players are very fortunate that they have the financial position where they’re able to take a night off from work without having to have the consequences to themselves financially," Kushner, who is a senior adviser in the White House, said in an interview with CNBC on Thursday. "So they have that luxury, which is great."
"What I’d love to see from the players in the NBA — again, they have the luxury of taking a night off from work, most Americans don’t have the financial luxury to do that," he said. "It’s nice that they’re standing up for the issue, but I’d like to see them start moving into concrete solutions that are productive."
