Disney launches casting for movie on Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo story
Production shooting is scheduled for later this year.
Walt Disney Studios has launched the casting for their movie "Greek Freak", based on the story of NBA players Giannis and Thanasis Antetokounmpo. The story wants to recount their rise, with the help of their family, from undocumented Nigerian immigrants, living in Greece to basketball superstars in America.
In particular, Disney is looking for actors to play reigning NBA MVP at 13-15 and 15-18 years old, with no acting experience required. Production shooting is scheduled for later this year.
