Devon Hall: I am enjoying playing with these guys, we are just trying to get better
The former Viginia guard is averaging 13.3 points per game in Euroleague, shooting 47% from beyond the arc
Devon Hall played 87 minutes in Olimpia’s first three EuroLeague games, most on the team and most for a rookie over the entire competition (trailed by John Brown, Isaiah Canaan, Daryl Macon and Elie Okobo). But the minutes have been earned through his actions: Hall went in double figures in all three games, the 15 points that he scored against Maccabi were his all-time record and from three he is shooting 47.1 percent. Since he is left-handed, he can also scores a lot with his right hand, when he drives The two two-point field goals scored on Maccabi’s penetration were both made with the right hand, including the one that led to a three-point play at the end of the second quarter. "I think it is most important that we finished the game out well, with a win. So it is good, something to build on, and learn from our mistakes here. I think we are learning each other, trying to figure out where each other get their spots on the floor. I think we are starting to figure it out. I am enjoying playing with these guys on both ends of the floor. We are just trying to get better each and every day and I think we are doing a really good job about it," Hall said.
The next challenge will be the most difficult. The three Efes guards are top-tier players, including last season’s MVP, Vasilije Micic, and the single-game most points record holder, Shane Larkin (49), as well as Rodrigue Beaubois, who played four years in Dallas before returning to Europe. "It will be a new challenge [in Round 4 game against Efes]. We have a couple of days to prepare for it, so we are looking forward to it, take one day at a time and prepare for it."
