Walton heads to Germany after parting ways with Zalgiris

Former Michigan point guard Derrick Walton Jr. has signed a deal with ALBA Berlin of the EuroCup and German BBL, the team announced.

Walton parted ways with Zalgiris Kaunas on Tuesday. He appeared in 17 EuroLeague games with the Lithuanian club, averaging 4.6 points and 2.5 assists in 12.6 minutes of action. He also averaged 8.4 points, three rebounds and 4.4 assists in 20.3 minutes per game in the Lithuanian LKL.
