Denver Nuggets promote David Adelman to head coach

After stepping in during the postseason, Adelman is officially named head coach following a successful interim run

The Denver Nuggets have reached an agreement with David Adelman to make him the team’s new head coach, sources told ESPN.

Adelman, who served as interim coach following the dismissal of Michael Malone, led the Nuggets to a 3-0 record in the regular season and guided the team through a playoff series win, falling just one game short of the Western Conference Finals.
