Duke forward Dariq Whitehead announced that he’s entering the 2023 NBA Draft.
“I’m really looking forward to this next step in my basketball career and I’m truly blessed to have this opportunity,” said Whitehead. “I’ve dreamed of these moments for so long. I can’t wait to get after it and continue preparing for the NBA Draft. I want to thank Duke University from my professors to my coaches and my teammates — I appreciate your help with everything this year. I will forever be grateful for the Brotherhood!”
Whitehead ended his freshman year with the Blue Devils averaging 8.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in 20 minutes, while shooting 42% from the field and 42% from three-point range.
The forward currently is ranked at No.24 in the ESPN Top 100 for the 2023 NBA Draft.
