Damian Lillard confirmed that he is playing through separated ribs in the Western Conference Finals against Golden State Warriors.
The Portland Trail Blazers All-Star is shooting 32.6% from the field.
Per ESPN, Lillard downplayed the impact of the injury on his performance in the series, which Portland trails 3-0.
“I don’t think it’s something that’s affecting my game,” said Lillard, who is shooting 32.6 from the floor and has almost as many turnovers (14) as field goals (15) in the West finals. “It’s there, but it’s not something that’s affecting anything that I’m doing. Obviously you feel it, but that’s it.”
