CSKA, Howard Sant-Roos part ways
Russian powerhouse opts-out of contract with Cuban forward.
CSKA Moscow has announced that they have exercised their option to opt-out of the contract with Howard Sant-Roos, which it was set to expire in 2023 without activating this clause.
Sant-Roos averaged 5.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 10 Euroleague games with CSKA since joining mid-season from AEK Athens.
CSKA president Andrey Vatutin has said that the decision was made with ‘regret’ due to budget cut and to avoid extra spendings.
