Crvena Zvezda-Petrusev: Sfairopoulos’ denial arrives
Crvena Zvezda will not be signing Filip Petrusev, according to coach Sfairopoulos.
Throughout the summer, Filip Petrusev was linked with a move to Crvena Zvezda, while at the beginning of September there was talk of a postponement. Today, Thursday 17 October, coach Sfairopoulos denied the possibility of the Serbian centre-back pulling on a Crvena Zvezda jersey in his homeland. Below are his comments.
Sfairopoulos’ words: “I respect journalism. Unfortunately, there is a section of journalism that spreads lies at a time when we are 3-0 up. Thank God it is a minority and this minority cannot harm the profession of journalism as a whole. At the moment we are not planning to add anyone to our list”.
