An unreal performance from Crvena Zvezda, who came back from 21 down in the first half and got the win in Lyon against Asvel Villeurbanne thanks to a Kevin Punter game-winning three with 1.9 seconds on the clock.
A thrilling game in which Sakota’s team was able to turn tables thanks to a 34-16 third quarter, but Asvel put up a fight too by cutting a 6-point Belgrade lead in the final minutes, before Punter’s game winner.
Former Olympiacos and Virtus Bologna guard ended with 18 points, while Stimac was Crvena Zvezda top scorer with 21 points shooting 9/9 from the field. Asvel had 17+8 from Payne and 13 from Maledon.
