Coach Dimitris Itoudis: “I want to take Hapoel Tel Aviv to the EuroLeague”

Hapoel Sholmo Tel Aviv have announced the arrival of coach Dimitris Itoudis. Here are the words the coach used to introduce himself to his new fans and his new club.
Itoudis’ words: The vision and plans that Ofer Yanai presented to me were the main reasons for my decision to join Hapoel Tel Aviv. This is a club with the ambition to achieve the maximum, which matches my philosophy and my career. Building something big is more difficult, but at the same time very satisfying and challenging. Even though I could have waited for an offer from a team participating in the EuroLeague, I decided, together with the owners, the management, the players and our fans, to make Hapoel Tel Aviv a EuroLeague team.
