Chuma Okeke reportedly joining Knicks
Okeke was the No. 16 pick of the 2019 NBA Draft
The New York Knicks have reached an agreement with Chuma Okeke, reports Michael Scotto.
The forward selected by the Orlando Magic at No. 16 in the 2019 NBA Draft spent five seasons in Florida, averaging 6.3 points and 3.7 rebounds, but with a minor role in 2023-24 (2.2 points in 9 minutes).
It is unclear what kind of contract the former Auburn man will sign, but he will most likely be at the Knicks’ training camp to convince Thibodeau to give him a roster spot for the regular season.
