Charles Barkley spoke on Paul George’s Podcast P to discuss the United States and its goals at the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympics. These are his remarks.
Charles Barkley’s words: “The international teams have gotten better, that’s 100 percent true. But none of them are better than the United States. Look at France: they have the length, but they lack the guards. If you take away Jokic, Doncic, Antetokounmpo and Shai from the rest of the world, the rest of the players are not at the level of the American players. Just look at our bench: you bring up Tatum and Holiday, no team can have players like that coming off the bench. There’s no excuse to lose the gold, if they lose, we’re not going to let them come back to our country”.
