The Boston Celtics are able to apply for a $3.2 million Disabled Player Exception for Danilo Gallinari, according to Bobby Marks of ESPN. Italian forward suffered a torn ACL while playing for his national team last week.
Celtics can sign, trade, or claim a player on a one-year contract if they have an open roster spot.
