Cedevita Olimpija’s senior team will enter the 2023/24 season without Alen Omić. The player returned to Ljubljana at the end of November 2021 and, during his time with Cedevita Olimpija, won two Slovenian national championships. He was also named the Most Valuable Player of the national championship finals series in the 2021/22 season.
In the 2022/23 season, Alen Omić set numerous personal career milestones. He played 31 games in the AdmiralBet ABA League and 17 games in the 7DAYS EuroCup. On the European stage, he averaged 10.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, while in the regional league, he recorded 11.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.
