Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro announces that they have reached an agreement with player Austin Daye.
For the power forward born in Irvine on June 5, 1988, this is his second experience with the Pesaro team after the one he had in 2015/2016 which concluded with the team’s salvation in the top league.
Daye’s professional career began in 2009 with the Detroit Pistons, with whom he stayed until 2013 before moving to Khimki, Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors, and San Antonio Spurs. After stints with the Erie BayHawks and Atlanta Hawks, he arrived in Pesaro and then transferred to Galatasaray in Turkey. In 2017/2018, he played in Israel with Hapoel Jerusalem, and from 2018 to 2022, he returned to Italy to defend the colors of Reyer Venezia, winning the FIBA Europe Cup, a league title, and an Italian Cup with the team. He arrives in Pesaro after his experience with the New Taipei Kings.
