Canceled season could produce a €30M loss for Euroleague teams
Most affected clubs could be Zalgiris, Maccabi, Baskonia and Fenerbahce.
According to a report from Encestando, the cancelation of Euroleague season could cost the teams a cumulative loss of more than €30 millions.
Euroleague had reportedly scheduled a cumulative income, for the competition, of €65M, mostly composed of TV rights (66%) and Sponsorships (approx. 25%).
Clubs most heavily affected would be Zalgiris, Maccabi, Baskonia because of their reliance on ticketing (40% of incomes) and Fenerbahce, because of the previous issues. A lesser impact, reportedly, for Efes, Valencia, Milano, CSKA and Khimki, besides of multi-sport realities like Real, Barcelona and Bayern.
