Borisa Simanic is back, signing for K.K. Igokea
After the serious injury suffered during the 2023 World Cup, Borisa Simanic signed a contract with K.K. Igokea.
Borisa Simanić is ready to return to the court. After the serious injury suffered during the 2023 World Cup, which kept him out the entire season, the Serbian player has signed a contract with K.K. Igokea, a Bosnian team which compete in the ABA Liga, and which is also set to play in the Basketball Champions League. Simanić had to undergo delicate surgery to remove a kidney due to an hard hit during a game.
More than a year later, he made his return to the court with Igokea, signing a deal with the Laktaši team after playing a friendly against Borac Banja Luka, where he scored eight points. Simanić has previously played for Zaragoza, Mega MIS, Red Star, Meridianbet and FMP Soccerbet. With Red Star, the player also won three Adriatic League championships, in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
