Bodiroga: “Three cities in the running to host EuroLeague Final Four: Crvena Zvezda and Partizan…”
Dejan Bodiroga talked about the future of the EuroLeague: from Red Star to Partizan Belgrade to the city that will host the next Final Four.
Dejan Bodiroga talked to Serbia’s TV Nova about the upcoming EuroLeague and which city will host the next Final Four of Europe’s most important competition. These are his statements.
Bodiroga on Crvena Zvezda and Partizan: “Serbia is very important, both Partizan and Crvena Zvezda have very good chances to participate in the next EuroLeague. I think the change in the system will happen when EuroLeague adopts a strategy for 10 or 20 years, I think next season we will give licenses to clubs for 3 or 5 years. Both Serbian clubs have a long-term perspective in the EuroLeague. We see that many people from abroad come to watch Partizan and Zvezda games in the EuroLeague, and I think it is the best atmosphere in Europe”.
On the city that will host the next Final Four: “Belgrade has hosted wonderful Final Fours in recent years, creating a beautiful atmosphere. It has a very good chance to host again in the near future. Next year we have Barcelona, Abu Dhabi and Belgrade”.
