Bobby Brown, Amir Johnson among vets joining G League Ignite squad
The former Alphonso Ford Trophy winner is bringing his experience to a young Ignite squad
The NBA G League announced that five veterans are being added to the Ignite roster, joining young prospects Jalen Green, Jonathan Kuminga, Isaiah Todd, Kai Sotto, and Daishen Nix.
– Amir Johnson: 14-year veteran big man who has played over 800 games in the NBA.
– Reggie Hearn: 29-year-old shooting guard who has averaged 11.3 points on 40% from three in seven G League seasons.
– Brandon Ashley: 26-year-old forward/center with 2 years of G League experience and three seasons overseas (played in the Australian NBL last season).
– Bobby Brown: played last year in Greece, he is a veteran guard who has won national championships in Italy and Germany and was the EuroLeague top scorer in 2013.
– Cody Demps: 1993-born guard who has averaged 11.1 points, 5.2 rebounds in three G League seasons
