Bertomeu: “Euroleague is close to a CBA and aims for a license in London”

Euroleague CEO talks about future goals for the organisation.

A Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Players Association -the ELPA- and a long-term license in London: these are two of Euroleague’s main goals, according to Jordi Bertomeu.

“We want our players happy, Euroleague would not be able to succeed without its players. They formed their union: the next goal is a collective bargaining agreement and I think we are close” Bertomeu has said, then adding in regards of the London idea: “We are also aiming for a licensed team in London. Many might remember we started with a team there in the London Towers. Our targets have not altered: we are even nearer than five years ago”.
